Connectivity problems

If you are unable to connect your watch to your phone, please check the following:

 

  1. Your phone Bluetooth is on.
  2. Your watch is in Bluetooth range.
  3. Your watch is not paired with a different phone.
  4. Your watch is charged.

 

I can’t see the watch ID in the available devices list in my Bluetooth settings

 

Press one of the watch buttons in order to activate it. If unused for more than 10 minutes, the watch will enter in a low power consumption mode.

 

I can’t pair the watch with my phone

 

Check if the watch ID is displayed on the watch current face, then check the Bluetooth Settings on your phone. Your watch should not appear as “Connected” or “Not connected”.

 

If your watch was paired with a different phone in the past, you need to unpair it by accessing the watch menu and tapping “Unpair”. Detailed instructions can be found here.

 

If your mobile device was previously paired with a different Vector Watch, you need to forget that device from your phone Bluetooth Settings.



The watch doesn’t automatically reconnect after a long period of time out of Bluetooth range

Please choose the operating system of your phone:

 

Android

  1. Tap on the Vector Watch app to trigger connectivity.
  2. Turn phone Bluetooth off and then back on to trigger connectivity.
  3. Unpair the watch and then pair it again. Detailed instructions can be found here.

 

iOS

  1. Turn phone Bluetooth off and then back on to trigger connectivity.
  2. Unpair the watch and then pair it again. Detailed instructions can be found here.

 

The watch displays “LINK LOST” message although it’s in Bluetooth range

 

Android

  1. Tap on the Vector Watch app to trigger connectivity.
  2. Turn phone Bluetooth off and then back on to trigger connectivity.
  3. Unpair the watch and then pair it again. Detailed instructions can be found here.
  4. If the app refuses to connect, you need to access Android Settings, then Application Manager. Tap on Vector Watch and then on “FORCE STOP”.

 

iOS

  1. Turn phone Bluetooth off and then back on to trigger connectivity.
  2. Unpair the watch and then pair it again. Detailed instructions can be found here.

 

Vector Watch app stuck in “Connecting” screen


If the app refuses to connect or remains in “Connecting” screen,please access Android Settings, then Application Manager. Tap on Vector Watch and then on “FORCE STOP”.
